Application Process
Application Procedures:
- Complete the application(click here to download), and return with the fee of $150 to The Academy
- The candidate and family will have an interview with the Head of School. (Contact the school office to schedule an interview and tour).
- The candidate will complete an academic screening administered by the Head of School.
- When an application is accepted, a deposit and a signed Enrollment Contract are required. (See Tuition Schedule for the amount).
- All candidates for entrance to grade one through eight need the following:
- Copies of prior school transcripts and test records.
- Teacher Recommendation Form (Previous teacher should mail the form directly to The Academy).
- Health and Immunization Records for all grades (Health records must be on file before attending the first day of classes).
- Copies of prior school transcripts and test records.
- All students and/or their parents/guardians are required to read the Student Handbook and sign the required form at the end stating that they have read the document and are willing to abide by all of the school’s policies and procedures. (This form must be submitted to the school before the first day of classes).
- A seat for an accepted student will be held for thirty days from the date of acceptance.
- The Academy recognizes that the primary responsibility for financing a student’s independent school education rests with his or her family. The Academy grants financial assistance to qualified students based on need only. Contact the Business Office for an application.
